The delegates in the Ms. Orlando Caribbean Pageant made a guest appearance at the "Wine and Cheese Networking Business Event" staged by New Hope Chiropractic Wellness Center in Orlando at 6.00pm on Thursday September 1st. New Hope Chiropractic is one of the Executive Sponsors of the Ms. Orlando Caribbean Program 2011. This was a great opportunity to mix and mingle with business professionals from all walks of life.
The Ms. Orlando Caribbean Contestants / Delegates 2011 will be sharing in a fashion show at the 'Incredible You...The Empowered Woman's Expo & Conference being held on Sat. Aug. 27th at the Hilton Hotel in Altamonte Springs! This event is being staged by Sandy Isaacs, Owner and Executive Director of Breakaway Moments Magazine and one of 7 executive sponsor of the Ms. Orlando Caribbean Pageant 2011. The ladies will be wearing items from Phylis Rose's Collection. This promises to be an extraordinary event and tickets will be available at the door.
The Ms. Orlando Caribbean Delegates 2011 shared in a grooming seminar at Aora Salon and Spa on Thursday August 25 at 6.00pm at 425 West New England Ave., Suite 100, Winter Park, Florida. This event featured Courtney Taylor (Owner and Executive Director), and staff of Aora Salon and Spa, Galeynn Mihelc (Independent Distributor Premier Designs Jewelry), Winston Chisholm (Owner and Executive Director - Wincour Transportation Ltd and former hotel manager), and many others. The team took the ladies through a program involving wardrobe co-ordination and accessorizing, make-up application and skin care and formal dining etiquette.
The delegates in the Ms. Orlando Caribbean Pageant 2011 made a guest appearance and presented a Caribbean Costume Gala at the Jamaican American Independence Ball, staged at the Rosen Center Hotel on Saturday August 6th in Orlando, Florida.
The ladies participated in an etiquette seminar on Thursday afternoon in preparation for the Independence dinner and dance. The seminar was sponsored and hosted by Wincour Transportation Services Limited. For more information please check winston@wincourtransportation.com.This was a great event.
The Jamaican Cultural Connections Association and the Image Caribbean Cultural Society Inc. staged fundraising car wash on Saturday July 23rd at TASTE OF JAMAICA RESTAURANT. The Jamaican Cultural Connections Association is an executive sponsor, whose vision is to keep Jamaicans connected for development.
The 2011 contestants / delegates in the Ms. Orlando Caribbean Pageant in association with Alpha Point Outreach participated in a project feeding the homeless at a location in Central Florida on July 20th..
On July 17th we journeyed to Fort Desota Beach in St. Petersburg to participate in a Caribbean Style Bus Ride and photo shoot staged by Jules 26 Salon and Spa another of our executive sponsors for the Ms. Orlando Caribbean 2011.
The ladies also participaed in an orientation Cocktail event on Sunday July 10th hosted by Wincor Transportation Ltd another executive sponsor for the event.
